TWILIGHT

And when their day is done,
They shall capture the splendor
Of the setting sun.
Such hues of peach and periwinkle
Are distinctly heightened by
Branches’ silhouettes and the
First star’s twinkle.
And as dusk is upon them,
A peaceful feeling of slumber
May settle in.
They shall remember—
As their day comes to an end,
Another’s about to begin.
