THE TREES ARE SILENTLY WEEPING...

The trees are silently weeping,
Love only knows what secrets they are keeping.

Tears, pain & fearfulness seem to be the commonness
Of people who sit under her branches.
Listen & hear her rustling, like tumble weeds on Texas ranches.
The moisture blows from the wind.
Then seems to stop & begin without any advance notice,
Is no one there to catch them?
Sadness, Joy & Silence as they sit blankly staring into everyone’s
Endless
Emotional pit.

The trees are silently weeping,
Love only knows what secrets they are keeping.

As dew drops lightly on their cheeks, they hear someone break the
Silence & speaks,
By asking their most private feelings; it’s like the luck of the cards is dealing
Life’s cruelest jokes: emptiness, anger & lost hopes.

The trees are silently weeping,
Love only knows what secrets they are keeping.
