THE MISERY OF HER

For now she watches from a distance
Wanting so much to be a part
Of the dream she sees every day
That’s tearing her apart for some
Reason she can’t let you go she waits
In silence, so much wanting you
To know her emotions are crushed
Daily, as she fails to realize her dream
Of them together, people seeing
Them as a team but for now she
Stands on the sidelines not able
To play her own game and wishing
Over and over for you with only
Herself to blame.
