IRELAND
The stars are old with his delight
The ground was soft with rain
The moon did show the lovely night
And beauty was her reign
Her hand reached out to hold his hand
And led him through the woods
The path she chose to find a land
Where bush and trees now stand
Her songs were sung for him to hear
Her smile was sweet and nice
Her voice was calm and full of cheer
Her body was precise
The sun reflects her sweet blue eyes
Songbirds began to sing
Her love is where his heart now lies
In the glorious spring
