Scott Ransopher

HIGHER, HIGHER, HIGHER

The faded ash of her mind
There’s always tears in her eyes
Just pain is all she can put
No explanation comes to her
Feeling not sadness just the life moving through her
Moment by moment

Look, the clouds she wants to fly
Love passes her through so she’ll try
Not wishing to die, to go
But to touch new things out there
To feel the rest to give her share
To touch a star or dance an invisible dance with Love
To embrace this emptiness she deals with
To say good-bye and move on
To not finish what she started
To start something new
Swears she sees angels on those clouds why do they never
Talk to her in human form

It always hurts
Love shows her how to be near you dammit!
Yes, she does remember she expresses you through her
She feels your presence
She wants more.
