GLASS SLIPPERS

Don’t hand her no
Glass Slippers
That can shatter
Beneath her feet
Cause Walkin’ would be
Too hard
Without no security

And Don’t hand her no
Glass Slippers
That glimmer like
Fake diamonds
Cause fakeness walks
On too many airs
And steps on reality

So if you hand her shoes
No glass slippers please
Because they’re much
Too pretty for everyday life
And break too easily.
