EAGLE

“You know the old saying,” he said.
“The sparrows flock together, the eagle flies alone.”
Then he turned to her and asked with mystique,
“Which are you? The sparrow with the dainty feet, or the eagle with
The beautiful beak?”
She thought for a moment, then replied,
“The eagle of course, for I want to guide.”
“Do you want to guide everyone?”
She looked up into the bright sun.
“No, only myself, to be my own person.”
He smiled a knowing smile,
“You are the wise one I see, so come, and fly with me.”
