AUTUMN’S BEAUTY

May Autumn bring you these,
The glory of painted trees;
Flaming hills and amber fields,
The bounty that harvest yields.

The mystery of a country lane,
The beauty of a redbird’s refrain;
Mums in a bright bouquet,
A friend to share life’s way.

The sparkling dawn and sunset’s glow,
A happiness of hearts to overflow.
Loved ones near and a grandchild’s smile,
Contentment found in things worthwhile.

Above all, a faith to bright peace supreme,
A hope that holds a cherished dream.
Love’s love in your heart reborn,
With every golden Autumn morn.
