Differences
To those who fought my battles with me.
“Come to me, poor tired one
For I am tired too
My eyes have lost their hint of sun
They’re broken, just like you
Speak to me, small timid one
Tell me all your fears
I’ll tell of every battle I’ve won
I’ve been fighting them for years
Sit with me, young free one
As they tell you of your flaws
And point at you their loaded guns
You’ll see we aren’t so different after all. ”

This poem is intended to make those in need of a sidekick feel less alone. Not every battle can be won alone.
