Sarana Conradie

Cosmic warrior

through glitches and pain, you’ve moved so far
masking that smile like a hidden star
a marathon run through thorns and storms
you veiled your scars in fractal forms
tears turned to ink, whispered a rhyme
“I’m okay,” a lie to the tides of time
but galaxies swirl in your weary eyes
a supernova where your courage lies
little warrior, forged in cosmic dust
your pulse is a drum, your breath a gust
through asteroid belts and Saturn’s rings
you dance with shadows on solar wings
Dawn’s first light?
a phoenix reborn from the fight
each scar, a constellation carved in the night
with each step, a comet trail burning bright
forward, now
let stardust guide your feet
where silence meets.
the finish line? A myth you’ll rewrite
for your strength is the universe’s light
