Dark, cold obsidian black, and fiery ruby red
Earth’s nurture absorbed by the living; is recharged by the dead
Tap root reaching downward anchoring in deep mineral veins
Fallen cosmic magic drawn inward - elemental balance regained
Family tree, tree of life
Pruned and grafted by fate’s knife
Joined by blood; gathered by vow
Comfort in numbers in life’s here and now
With mortal perspective, life’s trials seem contrite
From death’s ticking timer, our spirits take flight

Lion Tamer, cunning pretender, predators power at bay

In two faced Janus, god of choice, divine freedom is found
