Explored
I have been blessed beyond measure,
To have explored our magic realm.
Imagination beyond comprehension
Between wonder and overwhelm.
I’ve seen the scenes of dreams:
The sizzling sands of sun scorched beach,
The snow capped tops of mountain peaks,
The rippling waters of meandering streams.
My feet have walked on sacred ground,
Lungs puffed full of ancient breath.
Swam living waters under the moon,
Suckling mother nature’s breast.
I’ve marched war torn battlefields.
Revered monuments made by man,
Prayed on religious holy grounds,
Majesties conjured by creator’s hand.
There is no corner of this rounded rock
that I should not want to see.
I cannot bear to rest my eyes
Everything must touch my feet.
