Trust the Flow

Lie down under a shady maple tree
in a meadow under a partly cloudy sky.
Feel the breeze playing with your hair.
Marvel at the mantle of
God’s creations before you.
Make up images that the clouds form
and remember that he was their creator.
Let him give you the inspiration
to write the most beautiful poem.
Take out your pen and empty parchment.
Let the clouds tell you
what the title should be.
Think of yourself riding upon them,
feeling the wind brushing by,
the thrill of movement
inside your elated soul,
the Holy Spirit knocking on
the door of your heart.
Open it up to let it in.
Open your ears to hear the words.
Submit yourself to their authority.
There is an intelligence high above you;
the words of God speaking to you
from his vocabulary that he
endowed you with,
to be the person that he
wants you to be.
Feel your new self living up
to his expectations.
Do not question their validity.
Do not think of yourself
as the only author of your poem.
Trust the flowing that he created
and ride the current as it
takes you to places you’d
never been to or seen before;
a disclosure that appeared before you.

Powerful

Darn! This is good.

Trust and accept. God is there in front of you, around you, in nature his Flesh and Word. Love this one. Fave. Thanks Robert

Thanx Nelson. I know many writers can't hear what the spirit tells them to write, but the good ones do.

Thanx Cory. Good to hear from you again.

Thanx Vic.

Inspiring!

Thanks you Sim
