The Pure the Wild

The pure the wild of passion’s  blend
waters of the Styx and the child again
paradise lost and something new
lost in the heat of the witch’s brew

charging buffalos and lambs united
raging savages and children incited
to war with battle axes and make-believe toys
fun in the darkest night for all the boys

commanding voices ringing through their ears
listening to their hearts and losing all the fears
rising to the pinnacle of their carnal desires
all what a disciple of the dark prince requires

angels and demons riding through the dark
on the soiled wings of a blood stained lark
chanting battle cries through the perilous night
flexing their muscles for a glorious fight

the pure into the wild, the wild, the wicked
an entry into battle with the proper ticket
a lamb with a taste of blood in his eyes
dancing with the devil in the downward skies
gone with all disciples of the unholy priest
the pure shedding purity, oh thou wild beast
