The Home of Rhyme

Where troubadours assemble in the enchanted heart,
softening up the words as the casings depart,
the home of rhyme starts to take form
where poetry and the love of poetry were born.

Aesetic feelings blossom in this palpitating home
and spirits awaken from their catacombs and roam;
free to jump into this new world of rhyme
and make up words as they start to climb,

Climbing upward and sailing into a spatial silence
to taste the fragrant air and permeating incense,
they are cleansed in the rivers of Elysium
and anointed by the words of a paean.

This new place in the heart so uplifting
where words fly and troubadours sing,
is my sanctuary where I meditate and write
as my spirit comes to life and turns on the light.
