Spatial Reveries

Spatial Reveries

Sweet sounds of music swirling aloft
Heaven primed for scented myrtle soft
Gardens singing melodies up and through
To the sky’s quiet drifting in oceans blue

Earth is a distant sphere of swirling matter
Seasons of onsets and seasons of the latter
Bound by chains and shackles and tears
Heaven’s a paradise to wash away the fears

Weightless above the skies I come to be
My soul to roam, my arms breaking free
My feet centuries high from earth’s noisy floor
Ah, for the sound of silence at my door

Spatial reveries, my soul bursts out in joy
My playground, the universe I do employ
Still winds blowing through timeless hours
Breaking through matter and clinging bowers

As the power of music lifts me up
I’m free to roam where to I go
Into space, drifting to and fro
Time is an imaginary river
Up to infinity to deliver
Ah, sweet reveries
In time beyond
Floating free
Just floating
Floating
Floating
