Placenta

Placenta, more precious than gold
from the works of supreme intelligence,
designer of life and the longing of life,
blessed encasement with titanium walls,
golden white pillars that glisten in the dark,
palpitating vaults of superior strength
with sentries posted around the perimeters
with their razor spears in battle position,
keeping out the impure and preserving the pure

as the clean waters inside roll over the cliffs
with pristine gardens stretching out into the air,
and greenery adding onto
more greenery throughout,
while purity stays true to its status,

the life before the defiling of life,
the harmony of nature unadulterated,
animal and nature in accord,
the innocent before the virus of the impure
takes up residence in the mind and soul,

the life of the fetus in its invincible home
shielded by the sacred armies of the divine,
the goodness in control over the evil
with its faithful oath ingrained in its spirit,

oh, the pure, the innocent, the sacred fetus
locked up inside its titanium vault,
sewn together by the sinewy
threads of the divine and the
dreams of the author of life,

oh, sweet little baby
unaware of the impurity outside,
drenched in mother’s tears
as she swears to be loyal
to the creed of life;

the preservation of life.
