Minuscule Ocean
Of your mighty acts gone quiet
Your gentle touching upon the shore
Like a tender kiss from a loving mother
Minuscule Ocean, you come in so peaceful
Your boundaries, just a day up ahead
No room to gather up all your strength
You charge in with muted battle cries
With flaccid spears and blades so dull
In the teeth of the tempest you
Stamp your feet and curse and holler
While your giants way out at sea
Roll in with the lines of steel
In their brutal acts of demolition
You can be a nuisance but a gentle one
As all minuscule oceans are
But your powerful giants
Can rule the mighty seas
