Love’s Passion
Love’s passion is the sweet nectar of life while it is yet the bitter hand of sorrow. It moves within my being and directs my course. It takes me to the mountain, lifts me up to its peak and pushes me to the bottom again. It blinds me with its intoxication. It imperils me with its many secrets.
It opens up my eyes and gives me the divine knowledge to see the unseen, where truth and beauty become sacred incarnations. It pushes my pride toward heaven. It rewards me for my allegiance to it, and reveals its vanity to me.
It takes me prisoner with its total domination; with its power as if it rose from the volcano, or that same power that puts a longing in my heart when I stand before the throne of beauty. It suffuses my total being with its influence. It saps my strength as I tremble before my beloved.
Like witnessing birth and death, life’s most intensive moments, it opens my heart to the ways of nature; life’s home. I breathe it all in as the jasmine mixes with the ether that floats me up toward heaven.
Life breaks free on earth as I move toward sacred spaces above. Love guides me to my infinite depths that dwell in my God-self.
Love has rewarded me with its eternal charm. It has placed new exotic feelings in my soul. Before it came to me, my senses were numbed by what life gave to me; but now they came to life as love opened the door to the secrets of heaven. To love, I deposit my heart and soul into your depths.
