Lovely Rain

Out of the sky such beauty falls
Into iridescent drops and teary balls

Through misty corridors and shiny gates
Kingly promenades and narrow straits

From natal clouds where angels cry
As spirits roam and eagles fly

Turning liquid into magic potions
Murmuring brooks into giant oceans

Lovely rain from secret hideaways
Coming into view as the sky land sways

Through hell and saintly travels so it moves
Past devil’s doors and cathartic grooves

Into the mystery of the mystic dark
Into the maze of the bewildered heart

Oh such beauty as the falling rain
From a crying angel without a name
