Love’s Universal Travels

Of love’s fragile spirit travelling from
its sacred womb with velvet walls,
from cathedrals floating within the empyrean
with delicate windows and pristine rooms,
its pastel colors gleaming the naked sky,
love so pure, so influential, so sapient, so earnest,
revealing itself in the human heart,
suffusing it with a new sensation,
bringing clarity to all uncertain truths,
building a new man from the
frame-work of the old,

universal love that comes to everyone,
man and woman and their gender uncertainties,
love that needs their attention, acknowledgement,
  awareness, sincerity, and reciprocation,
love that stops its flowing through no one,
in rivers of inflexibility and determination,
that don’t know the meaning of prejudgment,
that flows above the cellars of character.

Love lifts us up to another plain
and reveals life’s innermost secrets.
It shows us the smiles of the most holy
and instills his feelings into us.
It sweeps us up into its rivers
and carries us through love’s secret doors
and into love’s home of no name,
no language, no judgment, no segregation,
just a home filled with pure air.
