Hold Back the Lust

Hold back the lust, hungry man.
Shut off the power in front of your neighbor’s wife.
Defy the urge that was given to you to procreate,
that was put there for a purpose.
Look at her but don’t look at her.
Act according to the unfeeling warmth
within you as if you were neutered,
and control the lust within you when you look at her.
Look and respond to her the same as to her husband.
Keep drilling it into your heart and mind
that they are the same.
Say to him she is beautiful but not to yourself.
Keep on lying to yourself
that she doesn’t affect you in any way.
Keep thinking she is a nice person with no sex appeal,
and tell him she is lady-like and charming,
but tell him you are not charmed
and others couldn’t be either.
Tell him she is just a nice person just like he is,
and think that they are both sexless people.
Control your reaction when you look at her.
Keep thinking that natural
feeling inside you doesn’t exist,
that you and human nature are different.
Change yourself from a human to a robot.

If you can do all these things, you are a good neighbor.
You can smile without feeling the warmth
within you and the warmth toward her.
You can make his wife think there is something wrong
with you by the way you act toward her.
Even if you are polite and congenial to her,
she will still think you are abnormal.

Good Christians, priests, and all are alike.
The urge is still there and can’t go away.
If you can’t hold back the lust,
try to anyway even though it’s hard to do.
