A trivial seed of future’s prominence,
a scrap blown away in the teeth of the wind,
a wandering into another world,
a love affair of the natural kind,
an answered plea of nature’s longing,
a selfless act of charity’s natural instinct,
the bottom rung on the ladder of fruition,
a stalwart rising of the feast of man
and all creatures upon the face of the earth,
a magical feat performed by the blessed,
a lifting up by the hands of the order
of the brothers of the sun and rain,
a prophetic vision into the future of man,
a sprouting out into the fields of prominence,
an orchard begotten by the
father’s maintenance,
a sprouting out of the bounty of life,
a ride upon the backs of prosperity,
a prudent journey into the future of man,
a constant maturation of the same kind,
a proud submission to the laws of nature,
a ripening of the seed of prosperity,
a clinging onto the branches of the tree,
adorned by the passage of time,
a waiting station for the hands of man,
to be picked with reverence in his heart,
to be a sacrificial journey of fate,
a crushing from his all powerful jaws,
becoming a seed to live in his body
and give him strength to sustain himself,
a thanksgiving of the maturation
of the trivial and all powerful seed
that became a fruit,
that became a tool for
life’s longing for itself.

5yI'm glad you liked it, Cory. I wanted to send this to my church to put in the bulletin, but the people would probably view this as being an object of temptation, in reference to the Garden of Eden. I don't view it as such, though.

5yGenesis 1:11-12 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And we multiply. The fruit seeded and propagated. Beautiful poem Robert. Like. My “September Song” poem I posted not too long ago touched on life being seeded after death.
