Divinity's Song

Divinity’s Song

Divinity’s song, echoes of the spirit
Taken residence, my soul to keep
A quiet lullaby, a heart to reveal
The mystery of sound, a sweet phenomenon

Heaven’s language in poetic tongues
Play upon my feelings, myself bewildered
Suffuses my being, my spirit in waiting
Bids me to sing along, I stand in awe

Heaven’s echo is but a lofted dream
On a mission to reach the summit
I am only mediocrity’s child in song
Music lives in grand palaces, too big for me

But as heaven speaks to me
In her pure melodic voices
She bids me to speak to her
With only my joyful noises
