Black & White

Black & white separated by many oceans
but drawn together by far-reaching currents

Oh black, how thy color glistens in the sun
and how thy color appears when day is done,
and how you describe the mysterious night
with thy phantoms coming out to reunite,

and thy tales of woodland sprites coming out
and singing with the Nightingales throughout,
and how the mystery feels as the soul shivers
and the vibrations carry us down the rivers,

and romantic thoughts bring lovers together,
and life becomes light as a lustrous feather,
and thy color puts an urge in our hearts
as we sail to the sky as do ascending larks.

How beautiful is thy color of alabaster white
as divinity spreads its wings in plain sight,
blazing a trail through the jungles of mankind
and into the heart to make his spirit a shrine,

and how the whiteness cleanses his inner self
by breaking through the outer shell,
bringing joy to his heart and love to his soul
and seeing life as do the affects of a rainbow.

Black and white joined together from admiration
by blended colors and their reverential causation.
