Arise Timid One

Arise Timid One

Arise all ye fainthearted.  The World is yours.  You deserve it.  Stand up against oppression, that menacing insecure bully that threatens your well-being.  You have as much right to enjoy life as he does.  What makes him happy is making you miserable. You find your happiness in your peaceful manner, and how you built up your self-esteem at nobody else’s expense.
When he pulls you down, get right back up again and try to talk to him.  If he yells at you, yell louder at him.  If he strikes you, strike him back harder.
What is the worst thing that can happen to you?  When he hits you back, it only hurts for a little while.  That pain is nothing compared to the one that lingers in your spirit; the one that gnaws at your dignity, in turn, pulling you down.  From your overbearing retaliation, you will become his feared oppressor.  After all, he deserves it.  You have nothing to worry about.  Aggression uncontrolled, is a flame that burns toward its own destruction.  Arise all ye fainthearted.
