Revenge smells like, time.
It smells like, plain sight.
Whether in person.....
Whether in flight.
It has a taste of copper...
In the enemies mouth.
A tinge of fear persisting,
Like hurricanes in the south.
It happens unexpectedly,
To the most deserving souls.
The ones that give no regard to life...
Hurting others like, no one will know.
It makes kind hearts sadistic....
Satisfied with the pains of the inflicted....
Whom used their time to take the peace...
Of hearts that were already restricted.
It paints a smile upon the faces,
Of Mothers,
Of Daughters,
Of those least expected...
Leaving no trails,
Leaving no traces.
Evil is swift,
And can also be clever,
But it can never afford the Blessing,
Of rest...
Not ever.
Revenge smells like, premeditation,
Plans and calculations.
It smells like, games,
Monopoly and GO,
Where thinking is valued,
And moves are intentional and slow.
The pleasant thought of forgetfulness,
That enemies often adopt.
The damaged;
Holding memories trapped in steal cages,
For years, not being dropped.
The caged beast is fed,
With wings that span far,
A diet of wrath,
And baths in hot tar.
Acclimating to pain,
And using it for gain.....
Rendering it to the sender,
It will not be in vain.
Revenge is not sweet, but it has a unique taste......
Like, something savory you want, but really has no place.
Like a snack you have to hide,
So others do not indulge.
High caloric intake...
No one else should be involved.
The aroma of revenge,
It does not go away,
It takes the love of Jesus Christ,
To keep it all at bay.
One step away from him...
And that smell fills the air,
Like a human secreting pheromones,
To find his perfect pair.
So I stand behind the truth,
That vengeance belongs to Him....
The wall of truth that keeps the hurt,
From hurting many men.

2a@Cory Garcia Thank you so much for taking the time to read my words. Revenge may seem satisfying in thought, but can ruin many lives.....even innocent. It is never worth it.
