No one is home in the mornings
My favorite time of day
The house is quiet, the sounds are still
And the atmosphere speaks wise language to me
I feel very content
Some say there’s nothing more desperate than solitude
But I invite it to me with respect and like a friend
Still, I think it’s hard to explain why it feels good
Because people talk a lot
I would talk to silence because I thought it was healthy
But I learned that silence was nothing
Now, I figure silence is just a mediator between me and myself
I learned that you only hear silence talking
When your speaking too loud
So I just started writing
And this is all I came up with:
If you’re not there to put out the flames, then your mind will burn you; if your love is possessed by instinct, then the power will corrupt you; if your eyes wander towards your past, then your bad memories will seek you.
