Silent Eyes

Not a Word Spoken

Silent Eyes

Gently we lie down
      Not a word any spoken
Silent eyes we smiled

              .  .  .

Now I touched you
At once there hang
The memory of my platonic defeat
Now I lingered at your
Encompassing beauty
Bewitched by your wholeness

Touch you I did touch you I loved
Afraid to smear the purity I know
Caressing realities to your sacredness

My citadel crumbles in one honest desire
To touch me fuse your fearful yielding
Innocence to a lustful madness

Silent eyes you lie on the field of dreams
Gazing through layers of fears
Naked and cold you held me tight
Mystic aura and scent of love
Lifted the fog of doubt anxiety
That had followed you until now

Touch me you did touch me you desired
We lingered on subliminally insatiably
Lost in the moment love in the moment

Hearts now catching breath___blissful we lie
Hands on each other’s chest___loving touch
Silent eyes once more engaged___again longing

A love song passionately sang.

Voodooville New Orleans can transform you into any
spirit - you don't have any idea you've been fixed and pinned.
Thus this poem a reminiscence of days, happy times gone long
ago but still puts a smile on my or anyone's face once in a blue
moon, say. I thought I'd frame this before I totally lose memory
of it. :-))
