On patience tolerance self respect
a set of attitudes
When you feel that a project’s approval is coming very soon from the authority in jurisdiction, i.e., in a very thin minute, with all the stakeholders already concurred and had consented still it finds its way to be just there in the in-box buried under all the red tape and not moving.
Amazing state of affairs. A test of one’s frustration tolerance one too many.
How we react and keeping a good attitude while waiting goes a long way. Stirring the pot can spill some hot liquid and can burn you. Let it simmer and enjoy a good stew.
Yes sometimes situations call for time being of the essence – matters involving medical situations for example – then the more patience will call for one to react and behave with good attitude and in good faith not disregarding responsibility and duty.
Patience and self respect are the bedrock of tolerance.

2aAn oft stated prayer "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." Brod, is this about the bus stop project at UP?

2aPostponement of meetings with the UP Admin was taken to a new height. Yes there was Covid looming over this project and in fact almost all like activities worldwide got frozen. But virtual zoom meetings for a small straightforward project? Thanks Brod.
