is conceived
with love
a time before
birth
Sustained
in
the womb
with love
Out
from the mother’s womb
life begins with love
Cherished embraced sustained
In love life takes comfort
In love
is a refuge
spacious
unbounded
a place
within ourself
not unlike
a cave
where you
can center
and can recenter
a
protection
an
assurance
that
we are safe
and
receptive
responsive
not afraid
not constrictive
We are not
hermits
in our own shells
Out
from our
mother’s womb
we take
the breath of love
our mother’s
her caring for life
held
ever so dearly
in
pain
Nurtured
love had gelled
in
our heart
and
is
the very
essence
of
our soul
As
our soul
is
boundless
love
is its
limitless
cosmic space
universally forgiving
There is
an expansive
room for
alienation
and hate
in this embracing
space
Love
Is
where
sympathy
and
compassion
live
in
abundance
Love
is
there
to
take
like air
Unlike air
love
is
there
to
give
When
the
air
is
hate
polluted

A reflection after the midterms a few hours ago. I take it that the country centered itself more or less after two years. Just in case for whatever reason there is this unbounded space we call love in all of us, comfort-ready to take takers.
