a rainbow
you gaze out the window vacantly
some chill wind... a rainy day cloudy
contemplate the moment you feel cold
a rainy day brings a rainbow you’re told
at times maybe double rainbows?
even a full circle one... who knows?
you scent the sweet earth as it lay
you go about the sunny rest of the day
and look forward to a promising dream
sweeter than the last one anyone could
deem
with a deep breath you woke up arms
barely stretching
radiance all around the room your face
begin smiling
a beautiful day waiting a wonderful
dawn begins
the magic dream you had... a rainbow...
for the taking and more of life’s
pleasing things
