Infatuation
Written for 1st boyfriend
Every morning I awake
You’re the first thing on my mind.
A breath is even hard to take
Cause I dreamed of you all night.
Your name resounds in my head.
I long to see your face.
Everything you ever said,
I remember every day.
I wish your arms were around me
And your lips upon my own.
I feel you’re all I need
And all I need to know.
Finding you has made me new
And feeling full of life.
So will you please come find me too
And love me 'til I die?

You'll find that most of these will be love poems. Most of which come from age 15 when I had my first boyfriend. I was naive, infatuated, blind to reality. However, I could write pretty good love poems. :) I've learned an incredible amount about real love since these days, but I still want to share all of this poetry with you because it was part of my life.
