for a new friend
Writing you a Poem
Is like going home
To where I belong
In dull times of wrong
And reshape my scene
And feelings between
To long to be pure
Would be my great cure
From Temptation-land
With Snakes in the Sand
But always with you
Is a dream come true
Content on my own
From years all alone
I now have a friend
With me to the end
The joy we would make
As we are awake
Will make our sun shine
And water like wine
Each and everyone
Having so much fun
Would then go on home
