Friends

In the symphony of life, friends are the key,
Harmonizing our blues, setting us free.
Through crescendos of joy and echoes of sorrow,
Their presence is a gift we’ll cherish each tomorrow.

Accepting our flaws, even when our light is faint,
They bring us back to the path, teaching us to paint.
With a heart full of love, understanding yet rare,
First to lend a hand, a beacon always there.

Priceless like treasures, their worth can’t be named,
More precious than jewels, or worldly acclaim.
With every laughter shared and every tear dried,
We hope for a bond that time can’t divide.

In the dance of our days, with each step in line,
Friends are the stars that eternally shine.
With hope and with faith, they shall remain,
A constant in life, through sunshine and rain.

Indeed! And childhood friends are the best.

@Francis Aparici: Thank you so much Francis

Love it Mark. I wrote a similar poem years ago. I must say my writing style was so different ten years ago. 😃😃😃https://www.poeticous.com/vic-a-evora/friends-a-true-friend-may-be-one
