The past is what it is, a day gone.
It defines who you are,
What’s gone can’t be undone
But don’t look ahead too far.
Change is a definite constant,
and even if you prefer what you know
and the now isn’t what you wanted
trust the now and learn to let go.
Take a moment of your time
Breathe deep and feel alive.
It will help you rise
and know that you’ll be fine.
Living in the now is all there is
Let go of the past
Leave it be, let it heal
Then you’ll know how great it is
To live every moment of now.
