Waking up in Warmth

As I open my eyes.
I see all that lye’s.
Birds are singing.
Kids are swinging.
Friend get to hang out.
Plants begin to sprout.
The feeling of the heat.
Is tender and sweet.
Summer goes so fast.
And you wish it would last.
Yet the pool so cool and deep.
After you just want to sleep.
When August hits the bottom.
You cry when it becomes autumn.
