Poems for diabetics

Restless
As I lay in bed
Trying to fall asleep
These are my clues
I might be low
My body
Tries to keep me awake
Instinctively
Fighting to live
Exhausted legs
Exhausted mind
The problem is
My crashing low feeling
And my crashing
Because it is 1 o’clock
And I’m still awake
Feel almost the same
