If I stood as a statue,
For all eternity and more,
What would people say,
Id say nothing, them little more,
If I choose my own company,
Because my mind is my own,
What would people say,
Would they mention me on their phone?
If I roar like a lion,
At life’s petty score,
People may be entertained,
Not I, My mind would bore,
Should I stand at a muddled opinion,
From someone who yells from a far,
And walk through life,
My feet stuck in their tar,
O how i pity the minds,
Of those that choose to call,
For reasons that escape me,
Other than to see me fall,
Yet life and time travel forward,
As I hope to do,
For hope is my biggest fall,
And hope is no fall at all,
Is it wrong for I not to care,
Their opinions so strong,
Determined I react,
Waiting for me to do wrong,
Ethical vice,
Tactical mice,
Life is not fair,
Lesson learned long ago,
My freedom, allows me not to care.
