Light a lamp and see its glow,
see its dance when you feel low.
Think of me, think of light;
I will always be there, day and night.
A candle flickers out of sight,
but I still burn bright.
Think of gladness and joy,
that I am not gone; I am here to stay, my little one.
So when you light a candle and watch its dance,
know that in your heart, I will never leave you.
Even when you feel so blue,
I am sitting up here with the Lord and watching... you.
