It rained in the desert,
Yes it rained in the desert!
On the day when the sun of humanity did not rise,
On the East of the Middle-East world,
On the day when the horizon was covered,
In a dark cloud of hatred, acrid smoke sheet,
A hail of bullets and shrapnells rained from the sky,
Thunders of striking missiles hit and shook the ground,
Showers of bullets pouring over,
The open fields, rubble, and through the collapsed roofs,
Caught and doused the innocent and the unwary,
Drenched their bodies and left them soaked in blood,
Flowing out of the heaps of huddling cadavers,
Streams of blood drained, filled, and over flown,
The rills, gullies, and trenches of the desert sands,
Quenching the insatiable thirst of the parched sands,
Wet and drenched in the fusillade of bullets,
Deafened and disfigured by thunders of the striking missiles,
Lifeless bodies lying frightened, and frozen,
Trying still to find warmth and comfort in each other’s lifeless embrace,
And it rained again… and again….
It rained in the desert,
Yes, it rained in the desert!!
