The runner

The trees past by me faster then light
in the back of my mind I know
they are coming for my body
my soul
may even cut out my heart
who knows?
it was one simple mistake
no one can understand
is it fate?
my destiny awaits
for death to accompany me?
fear cannot be a part of me
not now its slowing me down
as no one knows I’m the fastest runner
you will ever know
Am I a man or woman
that’s for me to know
and you to find out on your own
