Why Am I?
As I began my transformation out childhood into my adolescence;
Blissfulness became diminished;
Mentally progressing;
My eyes expanded;
Yet, I remain stagnant uncomprehending;
Why do I exist?
So I stand here motionless;
Letting photons bounce off my human experience unto this glass surface;
They began to dance gracefully;
Reflecting an image;
A masterpiece known as my present;
Why am I?
Like an infant trying to fathom quantum physics;
Before the brain develops the capacity to articulate profound questions to process complex thoughts;
Trying to obtain answers;
Fearing the unknown I became lost;
But among the dark I found light;
A realization that I’m only a vibration in time;
Collaborating with life melodies;
Harmony in a grand orchestration;
Conducted by the Great Composer;
My epiphany gave me the ability to maintain sanity and learn that I am energy;
I will never die;
Only transitioning between dimensions;
So I live in the now and never question “Why?”.
