Enmeshed in It's Shadow
Life of a negative nature;
Lead to a path of self-destructive behavior and self hate;
there’s no escape;
it is persistent;
Internally and externally duality exist;
Sometimes overwhelming;
Why can’t I resist;
I need energy;
Why isn’t she next to me?
When all I ever wanted was to stay;
Why did it push the opposite way?
Now she envies me;
It is venomous now;
Wouldn’t even grant me temporary custody;
Blasphemy!
Now she will never know how much I admired her;
Longing for her presence when it is distant;
Or how she inspires the universe with every breathe of her existence;
Every word she speaks time stops and listens;
Our souls intertwined when were physically combined;
Now I’m reminiscing;
She will not know;
How my heart and dreams are consumed by my Queen;
A connection stronger than gravity;
Ubiquitous love;
I used you;
Drained your energy to remember me;
a by product of toxicity;
it is mutualistic;
Even when she is pure;
Unconditionally and secure;
I didn’t listen;
I didn’t fight hard enough;
Now, I have to live with it.
