Like seasons
His colors changed like seasons.
I watched him day by day.
He never gave me a reason,
leaving me speechless enough to say..
that I always knew who he pretended to be,
and every time he would smile,
his eyes would light up a thousand skies,
till eventually after a while,
even I lost sight of his image,
he discreetly wore a mask,
I had never seen him again after that,
my heart was torn in half.
His colors changed like seasons.
I watched him day by day.
I still have no logical reason,
but tonight, he’s here to stay.
