I had to take a walk
To get back to me
 
Without my job right now
Things r looking grim
And I’ve had to rely
On his income & him
 
Some resort to drinking
Some resort to writing
I resort to thinking
While others r fighting
 
Sometimes I
Say a prayer
While I am
Out there
 
Sometimes
I just delight
In the
Sun’s rays so bright
