Jae Rychlewski

Soon as I follow my heart

Soon as the sun, as life becomes day,
I flow with a heart, all the worst, all the grey.
No more can I mourn, myself as I lay.

It’s bright and it’s sad, but today is the day!
like the years gone before, or the pressure, to stay.
No more trials of the past, only fragments, so strange.

I can leave and be gone, maybe live, maybe stray!
or to grow and be strong, or to wither and fray.

Do I love like I want, and take hell as it may,
or belong and be sure, and to choose this, today.
