In spite of all who have asked
I tell them all the answer they seek.
In the answer they take a peek,
As if in an insect flask.
Inside the written words away
They see no answer, just a doubt.
A wish they cannot live without.
My love, the one we share today.
I feel a tumble trinket near.
One feels as if the earth would shake.
But as if I am not awake,
Another love for her I hear.
A dizziness that will not bore
I feel as I approach the cliff.
I take a few steps back as if
There’s nothing more worth living for.
