That kind of gloomy Sunday
The skies grey and overcast
All morning in bed I lay
Hoping the doldrums won’t last
But by noon the clouds parted
I arose, soaked in the sun
Walk in the beach, I started
Until the afternoon’s done
As the dusk begins to fall
Rich vibrant hues the skies paint
Waves whisper and softly roll
The night echoes sweet restraint
Gentle breezes kiss my face
Ending the day with soft grace

7moWe just got over the wrath of Helene here in the panhandle of florida. Living in the south most of my life, I've been through some rough weather. But usually the next day, or the day after, we get the most gorgeous blue skies with a very comfortable humidity. I love how you draw inspiration from everything and everyone around you... another awesome work of yours

7moSounds like a nice walk on the beach. Unfortunately here in the Bay Area, summer seems to linger on.

7mo@Francisco P.: I’m in Michigan right now. Early mornings are quite cold already. Thanks for liking.
