In Time, They Rise

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted."
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 KJV

To help the butterfly take flight
Would crush its wings before they’re strong
The bud must bloom in its own song
Its tender petals drawn to light

The mind must wake in its own time
No force can bring it into day
Each soul must find its proper way
A path unseen, a hidden climb

We cannot rush what’s meant to be
Nor guide what must grow deep inside
Through patience, life and truth abide
Revealing all mysteriously

So let them rise when time is true
Their wings will spread, when skies turn blue
